Well rugby season is over. Owen's team did really well. They never lost any of their games that they played against other Sarnia teams. They did however loose 1 game at the Toronto tournament and 1 game at the Ohio tournament. This week they had a 3 day OFSAA tournament (the winning teams from all over Ontario) they won 3 out of 4 games and came in 6Th place. Way to go guys.

Only 12 more days until closing. Next weekend all the kids are coming to Sarnia to help clean the house and get it ready for the new owners ( she's expecting a baby 6 days after they move in) And they will help Paul move to his new place. Then when everything is done, we are going for supper somewhere. I will be hard (I think for the girls to see the house for the very last time).
I am hoping to work in my little garden tomorrow. I have a lot of weeding to do. I am hoping also in the next couple of weeks to get a fence put up around my patio. That way I can let Sandy out there and when the boys come over it will be another place for them to play.
My allergies have already started. When my face and nose start itching I know they have arrived.
Some movies I saw this past week were Stagecoach, Laura and Sabotage.
I have always liked Stagecoach, I don't like all westerns but I like this one. I like John Wayne in it, I guess I like how they survive so many obstacles and I like how JW comes to the rescue of the character played by Claire Trevor. There are many interesting characters played by very good character actors + it was directed by John Ford.

I love the movie Laura. It is very much the film noir. It stars Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews and Clifton Webb. I think CW is an extremely talented actor. It is a mystery movie. I guess for this I like the story line but its more than that it is the scenes, everything was big and glamorous without being over so. That was the way it was back in the 40's I guess.

Sabotage is about terrorism in England during the war, it stars Syvia Sydney. Her husband is suspected of sabotage. I don't own this one on DVD I saw it on TCMN. It was an OK movie. But the thing I did like about it was how you get a sense of life during the 1940's and especially during wartime.

I am writing this post using Firefox because I still can't write it in IE. When I am in Explorer and I click on my blog to see it, it takes awhile for it to load, but with Firefox it loads so quickly and it also looks better using Firefox. I wonder why.
Some random pictures from our trip to Bobcaygeon last year:

Anyway I have got to go and get some laundry done, have a good day.
