I think Jin is still alive. However I think Michael died in the explosion, he had tried to die before but the island wouldn't
let him. Now he has redeemed himself was forgiven, he was free to die now (Christian told him he could go now) And finally I think Sawyer told Kate to get in touch with Clementine (his daughter). I just watched the finale again and saw a couple of things I didn't the first time around. 
One was just before Christian talked to Micheal and the explosion happened Micheal heard voices whispering just like on the island, and bad stuff always happened after the voices.If you have the space channel they are going to air the series from the beginning in the fall. I hope they show the episodes with the pop ups. They have a lot of info.
