Amberley's Birthday and More Movies
Well I worked 5 shifts in a row, which I am not used to, but I pushed on and made it through. Tomorrow is one of my days off and am I ever going to enjoy it.
Today is Amberley's 26Th birthday. I hope she has a good day, I called her today when I was on my break. I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. We lived about 25 minutes away from the hospital and on the way there we almost got hit by another car. My water broke in the wee hours of the day, when I told Paul we both looked at each other and said what do we do now (1st baby). So Paul called his mom and off to the hospital we went. I ended up having a c-section after 17 hours of hard labour. I am glad I experienced labour pains because I also had c-sections for my next 2 babies. She was the first grandchild on both sides. I have always loved being a mom, I might not of always been the wisest, smartest or even the nicest but my love for them was everything.
Brittany, Ryan and Rain came to Sarnia yesterday to help Paul with some things around the house to get ready for the move. Brittany & Rain came to my work while I had my lunch so I got to see them for a little bit.
This weeks movies: "Red River" (1948) with John Wayne & Montgomery Clift and "King Kong" (original).Red River is a western and it ended up being pretty good. Montgomery Clift was a good actor I understand he died young. I will have to Google him some day and read all about his life. As for King Kong I have seen it before, it's not the best movie ever. But the special effects for 1933 were pretty good, although it is a bit unbelievable in parts (well really most of it). I would watch both of them again.
During my browsing this week I found another good blog called {unwrapped}. She has a lot of crafts and pictures on her blog.Have a good day.
