Snow, Rain and other things

Today I only worked six hours and was I ever glad. We weren't busy because of the weather. We had a lot of snow through the night, and the buses were cancelled. No one wanted to venture out to get groceries. I must say a lot of snow is sure pretty first thing in the morning. (by the way I know the date above says the 19Th but I actually wrote the post on the 18Th)
I work 2 more shifts this week than I am off for 3 days. I have a lot of things planned. Heavy cleaning is top on the list, to get ready for Christmas. It is at my house this year. Weather permitting I will probably go to Chatham on Saturday night, since church is at 11:00 on Sunday and I have an hour's drive to get there, going down on Sat. night just makes it less stressful.

This week I drove over to the US of A, to more specific Port Huron. While there I applied for a social security number. For some reason I never got one while I lived there. I needed to get a number to apply for my US passport. So hopefully I will have my US passport by the end of the year.
I watched Rain this weekend,, and he was so good. We had a lot of fun playing store, (not only do I work in a store all week I get to play store on the weekend) and I took him to Walmart with Owen. Paul and Owen took him to McDonald's so he could play in the little play area. So while they were gone I slept, Rain woke me up at 6am on Sat. morning. So in January I will have Ethan & Gavin for a night. At the end of the month I am having all 3 grandson's for an afternoon to make Christmas crafts and decorate cookies, I am really looking forward to that.

I had a clever idea the other day. I was going to throw away one of our camping chairs that was broke. But I kept the cloth bag that these chairs come in and reused it for holding our fishing poles. Until now they have been put wherever and they were a pain because they were just there with no home of their own. Now they have a home and there not in the way anymore.
