Rain, Owen, Christmas, Zehrs and so on

The other day Owen loaded the dishwasher without even being asked to. It's not unusual for
him to help out around the house but not very often on his own intuition. Thanks Owen

On Friday we had Rain for the night. What a good boy he was. He is now being potty trained and he did very well, only 2 accidents. And he went to bed so good and slept in until 7 am. We had a great time together.
On the Sat. it was such a beautiful day, we took advantage of it and hung up our Christmas lights, actually Owen hung them up.

I worked my 3 shifts already this week so I am off for the weekend. Our store is changing names from Zehrs Markets to Loblaws Superstore, later this month. Most of us are a little apprehensive about the change because there are so many changes in store for us (no pun intended). The look of the store has changed, office staff have changed somewhat, the same ones are still there, but they have a new boss (she is really nice). So we will have to see what the power change does, if anything. We will no longer be able to choose what shifts we want to work, and of course we are loosing some hourly pay. So it is a little scary since we don't really know what to expect. I have been there 30 years so I hope they take that into consideration when it comes to scheduling me on Sundays. I want to be able to go to church (an hour away in Chatham) as many Sundays as possible. I will be pleased if I am only scheduled one Sunday a month. The one good thing about the change is that we do get a big sum of money. We get more if we take the buy out and leave, but we still get some if we stay. For now I have chosen to stay. So I hope the old adage "change is good" is true.

Kid Nation was on last night. That is a very interesting show. The oldest boy (15) Greg always surprises me. First he acts up terribly and then he comforts a girl who is homesick. I believe they have hit the half way mark, it is getting tougher for the kids.

Survivor is on tonight, I think James better look out, they are out to get him.

On CSI it looks like Sara is leaving the show, now the big question is, is she leaving Grissom as well.

Here are some pictures of my grandsons

Have a great day.

Terry

Note: Brittany just called and the breeder gave her another dog. A male and it is a couple of weeks older than the last one and also bigger. They are happy with the way it worked out, of course she is still sad about Ferrari dying.
