2006 The Grand Canyon

In 2006 my son Owen, my husband and I took a road trip to The Grand Canyon as our final destination. We drove and drove and drove. I have never driven in the US (except in Port Huron, Mich) but I did 80% of the driving on this trip and I actually didn't mind. For Owen most of the trip was boring (he was 14 at the time). I enjoyed it very much all the beautiful scenery along the way. We travelled to & through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Utah, and many other states. The Canyon was the best, I believe we were on the South Side. It was absolutely gorgeous and so majestic, it was truly created by God. Someday I hope to return.
