Christmas Song and Christmas Memory

It's Christmas time and I love it. I am in no way ready for the big event but who cares, I will be. This year is going to be different (really, a lot different) now that it's just Owen and me here, which makes it somewhat sad.

When I think of Christmas I think of many things. Here are some of them:

First and foremost is the birth of Jesus, our saviour. Although I celebrate Jesus all year long it has special meaning this time of year. When I think of the shepherds, and the manger, Mary and Joseph, the star and the wise men, it gives me a warm feeling inside and also a wonderment, a peace. Jesus completes the whole meaning of Christmas. All the Christmas hymns add to this feeling.

Matthew 2:9-12
After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

I will try to post a memory or a thought everyday along with a Christmas song.

I am going to try to post one of my favourite Christmas songs every day, they are in no particular order.
The Little Drummer Boy, I have always liked this song. It has a nice little story to it.
This version is song by the The Celtic Woman, it's a nice version

What is your favourite Christmas song or memory. I bet you have lots.
