It is hard to believe Christmas is only 19 days away . I miss having all my kids home on Christmas morning. I used to decorate the house right up, it looked real nice, but lately I haven't been doing it that much. I know I should because we still have one child at home, but it somehow doesn't have the same excitement it used to have. This year though I am determined to decorate more than I have the last few years. My son Owen likes the decorations, so we are going to put the tree up on Friday and decorate after. I defiantly want to put up my village, maybe I need to get some new decorations. I might even start my village tonight.Even though I might be a scrooge when it comes to decorations I defiantly am not when it comes to spending time with my family. Our itinerary for the holidays is busy. This Sunday we are having Christmas dinner with Paul's family at a local restaurant, Johns. On the 12th my neighbour has a girls night. On the 22nd all my kids, and their spouses and children are coming here for our gift exchange. Amberley lives in Chatham, Brittany lives in London both locations are an hour away from here (in different directions). So the last couple of years we have been having our gift exchange on a different day from Christmas day. On Christmas day we are all heading to Chatham to my mom's house to have our gift exchange and play games. Then on Boxing Day we are having our big Christmas dinner. I know that if everyone is there all at once for even a little while I am going to set up the tripod to get a lot of pictures. We got a family one last year, everyone was in it except my husband.

Good news Brittany got a job today. It is for a company that goes into different retail stores and takes inventory. She is pretty excited about it and she doesn't start until after Christmas. She gets to pretty much pick her own hours and days.

Amberley, Perry and Gavin all have colds. Amberley has not been sleeping very good a night so is not only suffering from a cold she is also exhausted.

Well I better go and start doing my Christmas cards.
